Also these are the first panels that you see their faces which maybe I’m reading too much into it, but I feel like is significant where she’s looking directly at us and directly at her father‘s grave and coming to terms with what made their relationship deteriorate and understanding that her father did truly love her, where he is looking away and never truly understood how she felt up until the end

Also, the fact that the relationship deteriorated in the first life is all the more tragic, because of the fact that it wasn’t either of their fault like how Eui-gang is a single dad with no support and yeon being a child that was surrounded by hatred who felt her father’s regret so in conclusion, as yeon said their both very clumsy <3

i think they go the eurocentric route just because Aesthetic Reasons yknow? at least that's what i've noticed?

but if you want ones that aren't eurocentric, there's "Precious Daughter of the Greatest Martial Arts Villain", "I Became the Despised Granddaughter of the Powerful Martial Arts Family", and i saw someone mention "The Queen's Law To Survival" but i. don't know? it does use chinese mythos(?) as part of it's background but i don't really recommend it cause it had an entire arc about it's own in universe covid pandemic and i just. egh.

it's unfortunately difficult to find good ones that have korean mythos involved, mostly because again, the eurocentric aesthetic they have of big ball gowns and extravagant houses may be boring to you, but by GOD it's so fucking pretty

also i just might be a dumb rabbit for royal/princesscore type stuff but again that's just me

i saw you mention you're looking for isekais and PLEASE. PLEASE check out "who made me a princess". it's a korean light novel -> manhua but it's getting a chinese animated adaption buT MAN. IT'S...SO GOOD,,,, also "i am the real one". while it's not an iskeai (it's a time travel type deal) it's one of my favorites i've ever read and if anyone recommends "i belong to house castiello" do NOT look into it, the mc forces herself to "grow up" and give up her childish things at 16 JUST SO SHE CAN BE PAIRED OFF WITH HER KNIGHT WHO'S AN ADULT MA N,,,

i'm so sorry isekais are one of my favorite things and i spend way too much time on webtoon ;-;

If my executive dysfunction doesn't kick in, I'll consider try getting into those first two you've mentioned... also, the third one sounds like absolute garbage. Thanks for saving me from future embarassment and regret; I'll do my best to avoid that one!

I'm usually ignorant to those types of isekai because their worldbuilding is SO messy it ruins my experience; like, these guys live in an eurocentric medieval fantasy, but adopt korean traditions, for some weird reason?! Can't these artists create their own culture or research more about their own cultures instead of going for the boring eurocentric ones?!

Though, I'll give credit where credit is due, these manwhas have some neat-looking artwork, at least! Can you imagine these artists doing works based on korean mythos instead of that boring eurocentric crap? Oh, the POTENTIAL!
